    –Use a room humidifier while sleeping.
    –Cut back on caffeine.
    –Limit over-the-counter antihistamines and decongestants
    –Avoid tobacco (chewing or smoking).
    –Limit alcohol consumption.
    –Avoid breathing through the mouth.
